About Yukon Timbers
Yukon Timbers is a family run business established by Jim (Yukon) Bartolo, a general contractor that specializes in constructing timber frame custom homes.
Jim started as a carpenter in 1977 and obtained his California General Contractor’s License in 1989. He has spent the last 30 years working both in the commercial and residential fields.
Jim and his wife Tammy began researching timber frame construction in the early 1990’s. They were immediately hooked by the unique style and unbelievable flexibility in the design capabilities of timber frame construction.
Yukon Timbers offers a variety of services throughout the construction project. We will work with you through each of the stages from concept to completion.
Design:
Whether you come with your own house plans or choose one of our plans, Yukon Timbers will work closely with you to provide you with the home of your dreams.
Permits:
Yukon Timbers will file for all California Permits and work with your local county agencies.
Site Preparation:
Each building site has its own unique set of features, such as, views and privacy barriers, as well as unique requirements, such as, water, power, septic, and grading. Yukon Timbers will work with you, your architect, and a surveyor to place your house and develop your site plan.
